Property Details

This beautiful studio apartment is situated at rue de Seine, the street dating back to XIII century, at the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Located on the 5th floor, with an elevator from the 1st floor, the apartment is a peaceful haven with a nice terrace and a beautiful view on the rooftops of Paris. It is fully furnished with refined taste and an exquisite decoration. It can sleep 2 people. Perfect place if you wish to live as a real Parisian, at the amazing location.

This studio apartment of about 20 meters square, or about 215 square feet, features a big living room with comfortable convertible sofa bed that opens into a double bed (140x190cm), a pouf to sit, shelves with books and a dining space for 2 people. There is also a TV with international channels and unlimited internet in Wi-Fi. From the living room you can access the terrace of about 5 meters square, or 54 square feet, with table for 2. It offers a charming view of Parisian rooftops. No better place to enjoy a morning croissant with freshly brewed coffee!

The kitchen is open to the living room, and it includes all the necessities: a fridge with a small freezer, a sink, a microwave, induction cooktops, kitchen hood, dishwasher, a washing machine (no dryer), and coffee machine (filters), toaster, kettle, plates, glasses, cutlery, pans and pots necessary to prepare a meal. In the living room there is also a wardrobe where you can store your belongings and a wooden chest of drawers. The small bathroom has a nice Italian shower and includes one toilet (not separated), a sink, a shelf under the sink and towel heater. The environment is very quiet and calm and an entry system enhances the apartment’s safety.

The apartment is located at rue de Seine, a street opened at 1259, which connects from the banks of river Seine to Saint-Germain des Prés. It was a home to many famous people over the years, including George Sand, Baudelaire or D’Artagnan. You are also a moment away from famous rue de Furstenberg, with Delacroix Museum, or rue de Buci, well-known for its many restaurants and little boutiques. You are also at a walking distance from Place Saint-Germain des Prés with Café de Flore and Café des Deux Magots. Walking along Quais de Seine with its antiques and bouquinistes, you will discover Notre Dame de Paris, Ile de la Cité, and Ile St Louis. And by taking the nearest metro, from Saint-Germain des Prés, Mabillon or Odéon station, you can quickly be anywhere in the city.

Perfect flat to call home for 1-month! by Jules 05/22/2017
We are so pleased that we found this flat in the heart of Paris; and to enjoy a 1-month stay! It was cozy, clean, well-equipped; and had "everything" that we needed. The bathroom & shower were much larger than we had anticipated; which was a pleasant surprise. It was very convenient (& appreciated) having a washer in the flat; in which we could launder our clothes. We loved the area, and that it was literally in the center of Paris. It was a 15-minute walk to the The Louvre Museum, a 15-minute bike ride to the Eiffel Tower, a 20-minute walk to the Museum de' Orsay, and a 5-minute walk to the closest metro. In the months time, we were able to walk and/or ride bikes to every attraction and sight that was on our must see list; only requiring public transportation a handful of times. We very much enjoyed gathering our provisions and picnicking on Le Seine & to watch the sunset, which was located just across the street and down a set of stairs. We loved that right out our door and minimal steps was two of our favorite neighborhood cafes, La Palette (best hand crafted Cappuccino & Croque Madame), & The Smiths (best quiche Lorraine); and Paul's Bakery to procure our daily fresh hot baguette and/or sandwich. Groceries, bakeries, a wine shop, fresh cheese & a local produce stand were literally just steps from the flat. We typically dined in the Latin District, which was a 10-minute walk. We felt extremely safe in the flat (& in our neighborhood); and the other building tenants were quiet & unobtrusive. There were two Velib' Paris bicycle stations located on our block; which made it very convenient to rent and return bikes nearly daily. We had one extremely insignificant issue arise in the flat our first week, which was resolved immediately by the folks at My Time in Paris. We highly recommend this flat & renting through My Time in Paris! - Jules from Hawaii, USA
Hermoso departamento, super cómodo y de inmejorable ubicación by Martin 04/20/2017
- Martin from Argentina
Cute Paris apartment in the heart of everything! by Charles 03/05/2017
This apartment on the Rue de Seine is in the heart of all the action. The moment you step on to the street you are steps away from the nearest cafe and within walking distance of Rue de Buci and Rue Saint-Andre'-des-Arts with it's many cafes, restaurants, market, and open market area. All three streets have numerous art galleries. It is a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine River, Saint-Germain-des-Pres, Les Deux Magots, Cafe' de Flore, and many other areas and attractions. You can even walk to the Louvre in 10 or 12 minutes! The closest metro stop is Ode'on, which is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything I needed. As a studio apartment, it is perfect for one or two people. The rental office is only a short walk away so I knew if anything came up they would be there for me. Maxime and Julia were great to work with and were very accommodating with small favors I asked of them. I would definitely stay at this apartment again or any property that "My Time in Paris" owns! - Charles
Romantic studio in a cosy part of town by Carina 01/04/2017
I spent the new year's celebrations staying in this apartment and I enjoyed every minute of it. It is a very well planed compact living studio, complete with washing and dishing machine, excellent working internet and with staff available only a couple of blocks away if any assistance is needed. The balcony overlooks the rooftops - which made all my friends envious when I posted a video to them. The area is to die for - very cosy and with good restaurants and cafés at walking distance - one of them right across the street. And if you're into art - there are art galeries everywhere. Highly recommended! - Carina from Sweden
Location, location, location! by Megan 09/08/2016
Location, location, location! We enjoyed our stay at Caroline's place in the St. Germain neighborhood. It's a wonderful spot for exploring Paris. There are so many great shops, restaurants, galleries, and sights all within walking distance. The apartment is cozy but comfortable and cute. We were greeted by Maxime who gave us a warm welcome and told us about good restaurants in the area along with other useful information for our stay. The apartment felt very safe and was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the little balcony was charming. - Megan from Washington, USA

I have visited Paris on many occasions and always loved the St Germain area, so I was very thrilled to find an apt so close to Rue Buci where all the action is until very late hours. It's also in walking distance of many historical sites. The apartment is well furnished with every convenience needed and the little balcony was a plus for having coffee or a glass of wine. The pullout bed was comfortable for two. The rental staff were very helpful and pleasant. This is now my go to apartment for rental in Paris! Loved it!! - Bridget from Pennsylvania, US
We had a delightful time 'living local' in St Gemain. by Goeffrey 10/01/2015
We had a delightful time 'living local' in St Gemain. The apartment is a cosy nook right on the edge of a dynamic and inviting part of Paris. We dined locally, or bought the produce locally and enjoyed the comforts of home in the well appointed apartment. The unit is easy walking distance to the Metro, the Seine and numerous galleries, museums, historic places and much more. It was lovely meeting Maxime who welcomed us to Paris and showed us around the apartment. We will very happily stay in the apartment next time we visit Paris.- Goeffrey
